Dave Benakis is the co-owner of Holman House Furniture, a locally owned furniture store that has proudly served the community since 1998. In January 2020, Dave and his family purchased the business with a vision to modernize and elevate the customer experience while continuing the hometown values the store was built on. Since taking ownership, he and his mom Yvette have revamped the showroom and carefully curated new vendor partnerships to bring fresh style, high quality, and value to Western Colorado homes.

Dave moved to Colorado after graduating high school in 2003 and has proudly called Colorado home ever since. Grand Junction has been home since 2012, when he married his wife, Ashley. Together they share a love for each other, family, community, and their three dogs.

Dave is known for his exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer service. Whether helping customers furnish a single room or an entire home, he believes every detail matters and strives to create an experience built on trust, quality, and genuine care.

Outside of the store, Dave enjoys spending time outdoors fishing, hiking, gravel biking, snowboarding, hunting, working in his yard, and appreciating everything Colorado has to offer.

Yvette Benakis is co-owner of Holman House Furniture. With nearly 25 years of experience in interior/exterior design and custom home sales, Yvette brings warmth, creativity, and a true passion for helping people create homes they love.

Known for her welcoming personality and genuine care for others, Yvette has a special ability to make every customer feel comfortable, heard, and included. She believes that every home should reflect the people who live in it and enjoys helping customers discover a style that feels personal, functional, and uniquely their own.

Yvette is married to David Benakis Sr, and together they have built a close-knit family with their three children. Family is at the center of everything she does, and outside of the store she loves spending time with loved ones and caring for her dogs.

Through her years of experience, eye for design, and heartfelt customer service, Yvette continues to help make Holman House Furniture a place where customers feel at home the moment they walk through the doors.
